Ah, the good old November Instagram highlights. My brief New York Minute (slash 5 days) was a definite highlight last month. From insanely good sample sales to visiting my favourite Alexander Wang and Tibi flagships, it was like heaven for the contemporary-loving soul.
I’d be lying if I said I didn’t love Brooklyn for it’s fashion vibes. It really resembles the Dalston/Hackney of NYC. I just feel like it gets the creative juices flowing. I only spent about an hour at the artist flea (top right pic above), but found some really cool handmade jewelry designers. I’d recommend visiting Michelle Berlinger Jewelry, Marina Pecoraro, and Dana Faith‘s booths when there. I got a mixture of delicate silver and rosegold plated rings (some for upper finger and lower) and some double finger silver rings. They’ll feature in my next outfit post seeing as I’ve been wearing them everyday since!
I know I’ve mentioned grey about a million times, but I was seriously coveting this two-tone Helmut Lang chance coat in the middle row to the right pre-NYC, so had to go for it while I was there. It was 30% off (and still is just), how could I go wrong?

The latter part of November has really been about 2 words: PRESS DAYS. These have taken up my mornings and nights. From Whistles to Kenzo, Meadham Kirchhoff, Opening Ceremony, Urban Outfitters, and Reiss. I cannot WAIT for what SS14 has in store. Seems the pink and pastels trend is continuing onto next season!
