Currently writing this from St. Pancras International where I will soon be boarding a train to PAREE! I realize it may not make sense why I would be going to Paris on the last day of Paris Fashion Week. Going for pleasure rather than work though, and cannot WAIT to indulge in endless croissants starting… well… the second I get off the train. My fingers are crossed that my friend will be greeting me with one.
Here are some photos once again from the lovely Another Garcon. This was the second last day of London Fashion Week when I had the pleasure of attending Pringle of Scotland, Michael Van Der Ham, and Fashion East. After attending 6 shows (which is nothing compared to some bloggers) I was done with fashion week and decided to watch the rest via streaming.

All I can say about this LFW is that I became monochrome obsessed. My theme of outfits was monochrome and I think it will be a favourite of mine for a while. Lucky for me I work closely with Jonathan Daniel Pryce from Another Garcon who I had a couple of mini photoshoots with. We often collaborate on Selfridges projects and he was at London Fashion Week as their street style photographer photographer (and an excellent one at that). He works magic with the camera! See some outfit pics below. I will also share some of the street style and catwalk pics I personally took at LFW. For now, here is my outfit from Day 1:
Jacket – Zara, Ring – vintage and Saint Laurent, cuffs – ASOS, Sunnies – Ray Ban, Monochrome tee – Zara, Trousers – Rag and Bone, Shoez – Acne, necklace – ASOS, Bag – Celine (took me ages to get my hands on one of these babies).
This is the talented man behind the camera. That’s all for now.
What do you all think of Monochrome? Anyone else as obsessed as me?

So I know it’s been ages since I last posted, but I’ve decided to make a comeback, and just in time for London Fashion Week… which starts TOMORROW! Ahh i haven’t even written my diary for the weekend yet or printed half my tickets! I’ll be going to Issa, Fyodor Golan, Eugine Lin, Todd Lynn, John Rocha, PPQ, Michael Van Der Ham and moreeeee. So before I rant on about how I need to plan my days, here are some tips on how to get ready for LFW:
- Plan your wardrobe
Let’s be honest, it’s less about what we see on the catwalks and all about who’s wearing what on the streets. Look to fashion favourites Christopher Kane and Peter Pilotto to make sure your look stands up to scrutiny.
- Get some sleep
A day running around in heels followed by a night on the tiles is going to take it out of you. If you can’t stock up on your beauty sleep then at least invest in some of these beauty savers from Clinique and Origins.
- Be a preen queen
A striking manicure is nearly as important as a head-turning outfit. Stay ahead of the curve with DIY nail kits from Ciaté and Nails Inc.
- Pimp your technology
Whether you’re on an iPad or an android (I would personally choose iPad any day), your technology is key. Give yours a fashion upgrade with quirky cases from Marc by Marc Jacobs and sleek covers by Lanvin.
That’s all for now – look out for updates tomorrow!

On Monday evening I attended the Liberty X Kenzo event. Liberty and Kenzo came together to celebrate London Fashion Week and the arrival of the Kenzo AW12 collection in style. Their first floor atrium (where women’s contemporary usually sits) was transformed into a celebratory space with cucumber cocktails, DJs and live music. Blood Orange took the stage while creative directors of Kenzo hosted the party in collaboration with Liberty.

It’s been a busy weekend. From Antoni and Alison to Maria Grachvogel and Jasper Conran shows, fashion week is exhausting! I have the Mark Fast show tonight, Liberty x Kenzo event following, and then a Rosh Hashanah potluck at a friends. Tomorrow I’m going to Aminaka Wilmont and then I am done with shows. If I’m being honest, I tend to prefer the street style
at LFW to the shows. I just find it more relatable. Here are some iPhone pics I snapped from LFW:

What better way to kick off London Fashion Week than with the most anticipated collaboration of the year? British designer J.W. Anderson teams up with Topshop to launch a collection perfect for filling out your (and my) fashion week wardrobe. The collection is very much inspired by J.W. Anderson’s work to date, exemplifying an amalgamation of his signature styles. Animals, paisley and stripes are the object of the collection (and affection, clearly). Beyond the wardrobe pieces are further designer accessories such as iPhone/iPad cases, picnic blankets and stationary.
J.W. Anderson X Topshop collection launched TODAY and is available for purchase not only in-store but also online at Selfridges.com. Browsing through designer dresses? Just add some of the collaboration pieces to your basket and you’ll be front row ready in no time.
The middle look is on my must-have list. Baseball jacket & school girl skirt with a 5 inch pair of designer shoes will make for a killer LFW outfit.
My favourite pieces from the collection. I am already envisioning my Acne boots with that skirt & jacket.. MMM…

Ever noticed that London style is so old school? Everything reminds me of the 70′s/80′s/90′s… kinda like New Kids On the Block. Don’t tell me you’ve already forgotten that legend of a boy band. Neons, cray-cray printed jumpers, boxy hair styles, Football (American) jackets, skinny jeans, jean jackets, double denim love love love. HOWEVER, my recent goal has been to make my posts as relatable as possible. Although they say Londoners dress to be seen, and it is quite entertaining seeing just how far they go to be photographed, I’ve decided to focus on people we actually WANT to dress like + a little bit of quirk. So here ya go:
Blue & Skinny Khakis.. you can never go wrong with this combination
I have a plaid jacket just like that. Yes, I buy men’s clothing for myself. #trending
Italiano? CI! Love the runners. There’s that NKOTB hairstyle I was referring to.
Brother love. Keds love.
Blinded by the light. But wicked studded shoes. Minor quirk.
Double collar & Dessert boots
Leather sleeves? Questionable, but kinda cool.
Football (American) jacket
Red pantaloons (sp?)
Andddd that’s a wrap. For now. God I love skinny ties.
Photocreds? Me. Where/when? London Fashion Week, and obviously Brick Lane, Duh.

There’s nothing like a man with a true sense of style. Check out these great looks that I captured during London Fashion Week for inspiration. My favorites were outside the Nicole Farhi and Burberry Prorsum shows.
This guy sure knows how to pull off Nordic flannel tights!
James Dean look will NEVER get old
Suspenders, literal bows, and thick glasses.. cool.
Fur, white frames, and mixing brown tones
Get the classy-casual look by pairing a blazer with trousers
Light washed jeans

And that’s a wrap. LFW FW12 showed us some very exciting trends that fall has in store, notably from Mary Katrantzou, Nicole Farhi, Acne, Mark Fast, and Mulberry (to name but a few) . For now, I’ll share with you some of my favorite streetstyle looks from the week.
Power to the flower
White blazers & shiny shoes
Ombres & furry hats (been debating an ombre for quite some time now…)
Photographers attack Jordy like a flock of birds due to her vibrant coat

Well this is exciting. This LFW I get to actually attend numerous shows & events on behalf of MTV and my blog instead of working them. Starting tomorrow I’ll be sending numerous updates with streetstyle pictures & trends, and bite size reviews and sneak peaks from shows including Markus Lupfer, Issa London, Nicole Farhi, and more! Get excited! For now, here is what has been trending so far for fashion week street style:
Mint/Sea foam Green
Spurts of colour
