When I started my blog in 2011 I had no idea the journey that lay ahead. I had just finished my semester at Bocconi in Milan, and my plan was to complete a 4 month Fashion PR internship in London and then attend the Parsons Fashion Marketing graduate program that I was accepted into. Well, that 4 months turned into a nearly 3-year-long career and I have never looked back. London seriously sucked me in!
After working in Fashion PR at Starworks Group for incredible contemporary brands such as Jonathan Saunders, Peter Pilotto and Mulberry, I moved on to work as an Account Exec at Chase. I worked all the runway shows at London Fashion Week and my life was filled with magazine and store launch events. PR is an incredibly fascinating world but I needed to find a way to balance my business background with fashion by having the ability to measure the commercial results of what I do. With that in mind, in July 2012 I joined 4Ps Marketing (digital agency) in their retail team to head up the Digital Communications across the business. I run an online magazine/blogger PR program working with my favourite luxury brands such as Selfridges and Liberty and I love it. On the side, I run this blog and write for sites such as MTV Fora, London The Inside, Beauty Shortlist and Average Janes blog. My life is still filled with blogger events, magazine and store launch parties, press days and of course London Fashion Week so it seem I’ve found the perfect balance. Strangely enough, not going to Parsons (top fashion school in the world) was one of the best decisions for me because it led me to my career today.
I am crazy for all things vintage, leather, neon, and monochrome. I thrive off of social events, London Fashion Week, hanging with friends and of course shopping. Favourite brands are mostly of Scandinavian descent (Acne, Anine Bing, Carin Wester, Weekday), which is why I think I’ll move to Stockholm next. Non-Scandinavian favs are IRO, Isabel Marant, Alexander Wang, and 3.1 Phillip Lim.
I am open to collaborations with brands, press and other bloggers so please feel free to contact me at:
